Islamabad AIG Operations found mysteriously dead in his room

ISLAMABAD: Additional Inspector General (AIG) Ashir Hameed was found dead inside his room at the Police Lines here on Friday under mysterious circumstances.

Hameed was working as AIG Operations in the federal capital. His body covered in blood was found inside the room he was residing in at the Police Lines.

Police say the official had bled enough from the mouth and nose; however, they are yet to ascertain the cause of his death.

Officials further added that they have kicked off investigations of the incident from different angles.
