Pakistani community organises musical evening in Brussels

BRUSSELS: Pakistani community in Brussels organised a musical evening with Rifaqat Ali Khan on Thursday aiming to highlight the Pakistani culture to present a unique image of the country.

On the occasion, Khalid Mehmood, president of Pakistan-Belgium Welfare Organisation, said that the Pakistani culture encompasses some glorifying traditions including the art of music.

Françoise Schepmans, mayor of Brussels district Molenbeek, said that Pakistani community is an important part of the Molenbeek society and they are playing a vital role in every field here.

The event greatly entertained members of the Pakistani community in Brussels.
