Indian woman creates glow-in-the-dark cakes

If you thought that mirror marble cakes were the new “in” thing for cakes at the moment, then you clearly have not heard about ‘Little Pleasures’ bakery in Kolkata, India.

Not to worry though, we are here to tell you all about it!

This bakery creates cakes that glow in the dark! These cakes are made using “fluoro” colors which are sourced from Miami and are available in various flavors like Belgian chocolate, red velvet, chocolate hazelnut and lemon meringue.

The owner of the bakery, Shripriya Gupta, told BuzzFeed that she first saw the concept of glow-in-the-dark cakes in Australia, and started doing it in India late last year. “If the order is in Kolkata, we would need 2-3 days’ notice, but we also deliver across India and we can get a team to the venue if we have about 25 days’ notice,” she added.

The bakery designs cakes for every occasion; whether it’s a birthday, weddings, bachelor parties or any other events.
