ISLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Wednesday summoned the Director General National Accountability Bureau  and Prosecutor General on September 2 along with details of inquiry against them.

A three-member bench presided by Justice Amir Hani Muslim heard the case against the NAB.

The court expressed its reservations over how NAB is functioning as an authority. “They are initiating inquiries on Rs200,000 and ignoring the big fish.”

The court said that NAB can take up old cases and initiate inquiries.

The court summoned NAB DG with details of corruption references worth over Rs1 million.
