Police mobile attacked in Peshawar, eight injured

PESHAWAR: At least eight people were injured when a bomb exploded near a police mobile at Warsak Road in Darmangi area of Peshawar on Thursday morning.

At least six Rapid Response Force personnel and one civilian were injured in the attack, according to rescue sources. The injured were shifted to Lady Reading Hospital.

The blast was carried out with a remote-controlled device, bomb disposal unit said.

Police and security forces are conducting a search operation at and around the site of the attack.

Earlier this month a terrorist attack was foiled at Christian Colony in Peshawar. Police shot down four terrorists. A Levies personnel and a civilian were killed in the attack.
