Show some sportsmanship, Hamza tells Imran

HARAPPA: Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz Leader Hamza Shahbaz advised Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chairman Imran Khan to show sportsmanship and wait for the next election.

‘The public has rejected his Ehtesab Rally,” Hamza Shahbaz said. “Imran Khan’s dream of becoming prime minister has been shattered.”

He added that all of the requests that Imran Khan sent to the Supreme Court were rejected. “Meanwhile our success in by-elections proved he was wrong.”

He appreciated the operation in Karachi, adding that peace had returned in the city.

He promised that by 2018, load shedding will also go away.

Speaking about Imran Khan’s Raiwand march he accused him of getting personal. “I am glad that many opposition parties did not support his march,” he said.

He added that one has to suffer exile to become prime minister. “You can not become prime minister by holding rallies,” he said hitting at Imran Khan.

He advised Imran Khan to exercise restrain. “Otherwise people will not consider him seriously.”

Imran Khan announced that he will give a final date for the Raiwand March on Sunday. Khan has held several protest since the beginning of the Nawaz Sharif's tenure as prime minister asking him to resign.

In 2013 he led protests against rigging. The current protest, which is widely supported by all major opposition parties, is against the prime minister's alleged links to offshore accounts named in the Panama Papers.
