Pakistan imported 513,000 tons palm oil in Jan-Aug

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan imported around 513,000 tonnes of palm oil from Malaysia during January-August.

Another Malaysia’s palm oil product the Minyak Cooking Oil made its way into the local Pakistani market, a statement issued on Friday by the Malaysian Palm Oil Board said. Consul General of Malaysia in Karachi Ismail Mohamad Bkri said that the consulate would continue to support and facilitate any efforts to expand the presence of Malaysian products in Pakistan during the product launching ceremony of Minyak Cooking Oil.

There was always room for improvement and strengthening of existing bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries of Malaysia and Pakistan, especially in trade. Therefore, Ismail appreciated the cooperation and support from Agha Supermarket, which sold Minyak Cooking Oil and a few other Malaysian products in their outlet.

The Minyak Cooking Oil is produced and packed in Malaysia. Minyak’s presence in the local market provides more and better choice to the consumers to select high quality safe and nutritious cooking oil.

Consumers can be assured of the highest quality of Malaysian palm oil, as stringent regulations and requirements were imposed on palm oil industry in Malaysia to produce high quality products.
