Body of young girl bundled in suitcase found in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Police on Monday recovered body of a young girl bundled inside a suit case from Sabzi Mandi area, officials said.

The girl was identified as Anum, who worked at a beauty salon here, police said, adding that she had apparently been strangulated to death.

CCTV footage of the vicinity showed a taxi-driver throwing away the suitcase, from which the body was recovered.

Police said they were on a hunt for the suspect.
