Karachi police arrest 50 suspects in search operation

KARACHI: Police in Karachi conducted a search operation in city’s Saddar locality and detained 50 suspects in the wee hours of Tuesday.

According to police, the suspects were arrested during raids in hotels of Saddar, adding that the identity of the suspects is being investigated.

Meanwhile police conducted a raid in megapolis’ Manghopir Ghazi Goth area and arrested a terrorist belonging to a banned outfit.

According to police officials, explosive material and weapons were also recovered from a graveyard after investigation with the terrorist.

They said that the terrorist belongs to banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Swati Group.
