Pakistan fully prepared to respond to Indian aggression: Defence Minister

ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Friday said Pakistan was fully prepared to respond to any Indian aggression.

The minister said this during a meeting of the Federal Cabinet in which Indian violations at the Line of Control and atrocities in occupied Kashmir were discussed.

Khawaja Asif added that any armed conflict between the two nuclear-armed countries would cause destruction in the region.

Also during the cabinet meeting, PM Advisor on Foreign Affairs and Security, Sartaj Aziz said Modi’s government wanted to avoid resolving the Kashmir issue. He added that Pakistan would continue moral, diplomatic and political support of the Kashmiris.
