Karan Johar won’t work with Pakistani actors anymore

It seems that Karan Johar has finally succumbed to the pressure from extremist elements in India, as he announced on Tuesday that he will not work with artists from ‘neighbouring country’ in future.

According to reports in Indian media, the famous film director in a video message said that he was deeply hurt over being called anti-nationalistic.

He said that when 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' was being shot the climate and circumstances were very different.

“For me, my country comes first,” he said.

He implored people to understand that over 300 people are affiliated with his upcoming film and it was unjust to them.

Bollywood Director Karan Johar met with the Mumbai’s police top cop on Tuesday after extremist organisations threatened the release of his movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, reports in the Indian media said.

The movie starring Pakistani actor Fawad Khan has stirred controversy after extremist organisations like Shiv Sena, MNS threatened to vandalize multiplexes which will screen the movie.

MNS leader Amey Khopkar said that if any multiplex operator dares to screen the film they should remember that multiplexes are decorated with expensive glass sheets, India Today reported.

The movie is expected to release in over 2700 screens on Diwali despite a ban on it.
