Dr Asim suffers paralytic attack

KARACHI: Former Minister for Petroleum and Pakistan People’s Party arrested leader Dr Asim Hussain suffered a paralytic attack on Friday.

According to the spokesperson of Dr Hussain, Doctors conducted an MRI scan, emergency tests, and recommended complete rest.

“The doctors have also barred everyone except for his close family members from meeting him,” said the spokesperson, further claiming that, “the doctors say the paralytic attack was caused by immense mental stress.”

Spokesperson Jinnah Hospital speaking on the case informed that Dr Asim's health is out of danger, and his MRI, CT scan and other tests are underway.

Dr. Asim is currently under custody on a range of offences including corruption worth Rs.480 billion and terror facilitation case which allege that he provided medical treatment to terrorists at his private hospital.
