FBR further extends tax returns filing deadline to Dec 15

ISLAMABAD: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) extended the deadline for taxpayers to file their returns from November 30 deadline to Dec 15 2016, according to sources.

The FBR announcement is expected today in this regard, sources said. 

The current deadline was extended from August 31 for salaried persons and September 30 for business individuals, association of persons and people falling under the final tax regime.

This is the fifth time the revenue authority extended the deadline for filing of returns.
