ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf general secretary Jehangir Tareen said that his party will file a writ in the Lahore High Court calling for disqualification of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

Speaking to journalists on Saturday, Tareen said that governance in this way would ruin democratic institutions.

He said that they had submitted solid evidence in the Supreme Court in the Panama Leaks case. “We have proven that the prime minster’s children began their business in 2001.”

"We have also established that when the Dubai factory was sold it was in loss," he said.

“The election season is here. And the Supreme Court verdict will decide the results,” he said.

Speaking about the Pakistan People’s Party he said, “It has disappeared from Punjab. A three-day foundation day celebration will not revive it.”

“The real contest is between PTI and PML-N now,” he said.
