Pakistan capable of giving befitting response to any aggression: Asif

KAMRA: Pakistan Air Force (PAF) added 16 JF-17 Thunder aircraft in its fleet on Thursday, in a ceremony held at the Kamra Airbase. The aircraft will also be available for export to other countries.

The ceremony was attended by Defence Minister Khawaja Asif and Air Chief Marshall Sohail Aman.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Defence Minister congratulated the PAF for the addition of the new fleet of aircraft. He said that the JF-17 Thunder aircraft was co-produced with the vital support of China. “The all-out efforts of our Chinese brothers is reflection of a deeper bond,” he said.

The minister stressed that while Pakistan was a peace-loving country, it was ready to quash any agression against it. He added, that "PAF will always be steadfast". 

Lauding the sacrifices of the Air Force Khwaja Asif said PAF had rendered countless sacrifices in the war against terrorism.

The defence minister also surveyed Squadron 14 of the PAF.
