Five terrorists including HVT killed in Orakzai agency

RAWALPINDI: Five terrorists including a high-value target of the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed in an intelligence based operation by FC personnel in Mirak, Kalaya, Orakzai Agency early Wednesday morning.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) wing of the Pakistan Army, the operation was part of the ongoing operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.

The statement added that the high-value target identified as Durran was involved in multiple terrorist activities and had come from Afghanistan to target the Nowroz procession in Orakzai agency as well as the individuals who surrendered before Pakistani security forces.

During the operation Major Mudassar and Sepoy Mateehullah embraced martyrdom, the statement concluded.
