LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan on Friday alleged that the letter from the Qatari prince was presented by the government to save itself from money laundering charges.

Imran Khan was talking to media after a session outside the PTI office in Model Town, Lahore.

“Sharif family’s original money trail lies in Ishaq Dar’s confession statement”, he said.

The PTI chief said that it was a letter from Qatar that had previously saved the prime minister in the helicopter purchasing case.

Talking about the Panama Papers case, he said that he expects the decision to come out next week, adding that the decision will change the country.

Imran Khan said that the party would start campaigning once the decision is out.

He said that the party in the meeting discussed about the new administrative structure of Lahore and concluded that the party will perform brilliantly in the next elections.

“We want to win all seats from Lahore, which is the heart of Punjab,” the PTI chief said.
