Flowers galore as Lahore welcomes spring

LAHORE: All four seasons have their special charm but spring’s allure is different from the rest. The season holds symbolic importance as it marks rejuvenation and brings smiles on people’s faces.

To mark the season, a flower exhibition has been organised in Lahore’s Jilani Park. Elder people and children, who recently got free after school examinations, were seen rejoicing the different colours of the season.

The sweet fragrance was in the air and families were seen having a good time with their loved ones. The exhibition provided a good break from the hectic activities of the daily lives for the crowd.

Many people remarked that not only the exhibition brought a certain freshness but they also forgot about their sorrows after seeing different colourful flowers.

Spring in Lahore is even more beautiful due to the fertile land and temperatures, which allow most flowers to blossom here.
