One of the toughest Bollywood actors, Akshay Kumar said that women should hit back instead of panicking in the case of sexual harassment or being touched inappropriately.

He said that he believes that in India women need not learn self-defence or martial arts, however, because of some filthy people they have to, according to Times of India report.

The 49-year-old advised women not to ‘freeze’ when someone touches them inappropriately, but to hit back and run. He also said that a man gets successful in his immoral act when a woman doesn’t react, adding that women need to shout loudly and take action in such instances.

The actor is these days promoting his upcoming feature Naam Shabana. Recently, he visited the Gargi College University of Delhi for a promotional event. At the event, he gave self-defence demonstrations to the audience.
