Weather expected to remain hot, dry in next twenty-four hours: PMD

Hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country in the next twenty-four hours.

However, rain and thunderstorm with gusty winds are expected at isolated places in Sargodha, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, D.G. Khan, Bannu, D.I. Khan, Hazara, Rawalpindi divisions, upper FATA, Islamabad, and Kashmir.

A shallow westerly wave is affecting upper and central parts of the country and likely to persist during the next two days.

The weather remained hot and dry in most parts of the country. However, rain and thunderstorm with gusty winds occurred at isolated places in Malakand, Hazara divisions, and Punjab.
