Funeral prayers for martyred policemen held in Peshawar

PESHAWAR: The funeral prayers for three martyred police personnel were held at Peshawar’s Police Lines area on Friday.
Unknown motorcyclists opened fire on a police vehicle in Peshawar’s Chamkani vicinity late Thursday, martyring three policemen and injuring one.
Firing from police personnel in response to the attack killed one suspect.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Peshawar Corps Commander Lt Gen Nazir Ahmed Butt and Inspector General of Police Saleemullah Mehsud attended the funeral of the martyred policemen.
