Four, including two PSP activists shot dead in Orangi

KARACHI: At least four, including two workers of Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) were shot dead by unknown assailants on Monday in Orangi, Geo News reported.

According to details, the two PSP workers were sitting in a street near Qazafi Chowk behind Qatar Hospital when armed men, on a bike, fired bullets at them and fled the scene.

Both the men sustained fatal injuries and were instantly shifted to the nearby Qatar hospital, where doctors pronounced Abdul Hameed alias Mulla, 55, as dead, whereas 50-year old Rashid Khan was later taken to a private hospital at North Nazimabad in critical condition, where he succumbed to his injuries.

The investigators collected four bullet casings fired from a 9mm pistol from the crime scene. The victims were active workers of PSP.

In another firing incident in Orangi; two, including a woman, were shot dead.

A PSP worker was killed in the same area of the city earlier in October 2016.

The killers, according to witnesses, were wearing burqas when they carried out the attack.

Kashif Sagheer, 28, was shot dead in Sector-12C of Orangi Town.
