Aamir Khan scores over 244k followers after Instagram debut

 

Aamir Khan, who has come to be known as Bollywood's perfectionist Khan, has joined the Instagram family and received an immensely positive response from fans. 

The Dangal star made his Instagram debut a day ahead of his 53rd birthday (today). His Instagram account also got verified, after the follower count shot up to over 244k followers and counting within hours. 

On the occasion of his 53rd birthday, he finally posted his first post and it comprises a grid of nine photos of one of the most important people in his life. 

Aamir shared a photo of his mom and captioned it stating, "The person because of whom I am who I am..."

The news of Aamir making his debut on Instagram also spread like wildfire and #AamirKhan #OnInstagram starting trending on Twitter. 

Aamir has kept a picture of his Thugs Of Hindostan look as his profile picture on his Instagram.

The 3 Idiots actor, who currently enjoys a massive social media following through Facebook and Twitter, may have decided to join the photo-sharing app for his fans in China, Turkey, Taiwan and Russia, reported a leading news agency.

At this time, Aamir has over 23 million followers on Twitter and his Facebook page is liked by 15 million people.
