KARACHI: Lahore Qalandars’ New Zealand cricketer Anton Devcich has said that it’s an honor for him to be part of the Pakistan Super League franchise, which believes in giving back to the community.

In a video message to Qalandars fans, the 33-year-old promised that Qalandars will give best results in PSL-4.

“Being associated to a franchise that is so rich traditionally and believes in giving back to the community is truly an honour,” he said in the message.

“Qalandars may not have won PSL but they have surely won hearts of millions and millions of people in Pakistan and in the region which is greater satisfaction itself.”

Devcich said the PSL team will give its best in season four and will try not to disappoint the fans this year.

“We are coming back for the 4th season of PSL and we promise to give it our best this time for people who have supported us and the franchise over the years,” he aimed, urging fans to “keep supporting us.”

Devcich has played 12 ODIs and 4 T20Is for New Zealand. He was picked by Lahore Qalandars last year and retained for the next edition of the Pakistan Super League.
