Police arrest third suspect for alleged involvement in Karachi woman's murder

KARACHI: A third suspect was arrested Sunday night in a murder case when a woman was allegedly killed after her in-laws set her on fire, authorities confirmed.

Identified as Farooq, the latest person to be arrested was the deceased's younger brother-in-law, police said, adding that he was apprehended on the indication of the husband and the father-in-law — the two members of the family who had been detained earlier.

According to police, the woman was allegedly set on fire over a domestic dispute.
