Government to form National Action Plan to resolve public issues

ISLAMABAD: The government has decided to put together a National Action Plan (NAP) to resolve basic issues faced by the public.

According to sources, Prime Minister Imran Khan has issued orders to form a parliamentary committee to oversee NAP in order to resolve issues pertaining to health, education, agriculture and water sectors.

The premier has tasked National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaisar with implementing the government’s plan and taking the opposition parties into confidence over the matter.

The parliamentary committee, which will include all the political parties, will give its recommendations to the prime minister for resolving basic problems faced by the public.

Overseas Pakistanis will also be consulted for their input, the sources added.
