Rain, hailstorm lash Lahore

LAHORE: Heavy rain and hail lashed Lahore, Sheikhupura, Kasur and Okara on Tuesday night.

The sudden rain and hailstorm intensified the cold in the cities and blanketed the streets in white.

Motorists face difficulties owing to the downpour and hailstorm. Several took to Twitter to share pictures of the hailstorm.

Meanwhile, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala received heavy rainfall and heavy snowfall was reported in Murree, Malakand, Gilgit-Baltistan and Hazara.

The flow of traffic was affected to the areas owing to rain and snow.

Siberian winds also intensified the cold in Karachi and the minimum temperature was recorded at 9C.
