DUBAI: Lahore Qalandars middle order batsman Agha Salman said on Monday that Hasan Ali's fiery spell created an impact in the recent match against Peshawar Zalmi.

Ali bagged four wickets for 15 runs in the match comfortably won by Zalmi after chasing merely 79 runs.

"Our batsmen need to be a bit careful in their shot selection," said Salman. “Credit gives to Ali, if you can out top four players in first six overs it creates an impact.”

The Qalandars' player expressed his hope that the franchise will make a strong comeback after their loss in two of the three player games in the fourth edition of the Pakistan Super League.

"I am learning a lot from the experience of skipper AB De Villiers. I often take tips from him," he said in response to a question. “He is a cooperative person by his nature.”

The Pakistani player said that he is enjoying an ideal dressing room environment.

“Every team has won a game each. The momentum has started,” remarked Salman. “My personal goal is to give my best to contribute maximum to the team.
