ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan has summoned a meeting of the National Security Committee on Thursday, sources informed Geo News.

The prime minister would preside over the meeting, the sources said, which would be attended by federal and state ministers for finance, defence, foreign affairs and interior, intelligence chiefs and other senior security officials.

The forum would deliberate over Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav's case in the International Court of Justice, they said. Officials of the Foreign Office of Pakistan would also brief the participants on the case.

The sources further said the meeting would also discuss Pulwama attack, India's histrionics and situation arising from it.

The participants would also review overall security situation of the country, according to sources. The meeting would review Afghan peace process and Pakistan's efforts in this regard.

Moreover, the committee would also discuss Saudi crown prince's visit to Pakistan, the sources added.
