A video of a so-called “attack across the Line of Control” being played on Indian news channels is actually from three years ago, a quick Google search has revealed.

The Indian media, swept away by the recent wave of war-mongering, has been replaying the video in question all day long, after the Pakistan Air Force in a timely response repelled Indian aircraft which violated the Line of Control (LoC) in the early hours of Tuesday.

The video has been available on YouTube since September 23, 2016

The video, however, has been available on YouTube since September 23, 2016 and has nothing to do with the purported “surgical strikes” by India. It is, in fact, about night-time flying by the Pakistan Air Force.

Earlier today, Indian military aircraft violated the LoC as they intruded from the Muzaffarabad sector but were forced to return owing to the timely response of the Pakistan Air Force, Pakistan military spokesperson Major General Asif Ghafoor said.

The incursion into the Pakistani air space follows a series of threats by Indian political and military leadership after the attack on an Indian Army convoy at Pulwama by a local youth, in reaction to the oppression unleashed by the occupational forces.
