RAWALPINDI: Two civilians were martyred and four injured when Indian troops resorted to unprovoked fire in Chakothi Sector along the Line of Control (LOC), said Inter-Services Public Relations on Monday.

According to ISPR, one man and woman were martyred in the unprovoked Indian firing.

Pakistan army troops responded effectively targeting Indian post, which initiated the fire.

Ghulam Hussain, resident of Vill Bakot, was martyred while Noushad Bibi wife of Abdul Rehman, resident of Soka Vill was also martyred.

The injured included Raja Mehmood, Zahida Bibi, Ghulam Muhammad, and Muhammad Zakir, added the ISPR.
