Model Eman Suleman, who is known to speak up about social issues, has shared that she feels "no joy" in sharing a nomination for the Lux Style Awards with an "alleged harasser".

In a video posted on Instagram on Sunday, the model said: "I was extremely honoured to be nominated for the Lux Style Awards. What I'm going to say next is probably going to result in a lot of eye rolls and vitriol.

"I am tired of talking about it to be honest [but] I do not wish to be part of an accolade that is shared with an alleged harasser. I feel no joy," she said.

"Maybe give [the nomination] to someone who feels happy about it. I don't. I am basically done. I'm done," she stated, although she chose not to name who she was referring to.

Suleman, who clarified that she did not send her portfolio to the LSAs for consideration, was nominated the category of Best Emerging Talent in Fashion.

Several commented on her Instagram post, lauding her decision.
