ISLAMABAD: Body of a Chinese national, who had gone missing from Islamabad, was found from Rawalpindi on Friday, according to police.

Li Jinqiang, 29, had gone missing from Islamabad's Super Market area on April 15. His friend had also lodged a missing complaint with Kohsar police.

Police said the deceased, who had arrived in Islamabad last week, had gone out to take medicine, but never returned.

His body was recovered from a drain in Rawalpindi's Iqbal Town area, with marks of injuries on the head.

According to the DIG Operations, the deceased's had been suffering from mental issues and that his death could have been an accident.
