Two brothers hack sister to death over 'property dispute', wound another in Chishtian

CHISHTIAN: Two men allegedly murdered one of their sisters and seriously wounded another Tuesday night here in the city's Chak-1, Gujiani area, authorities confirmed.

According to police, the two brothers — identified as Yaseen and Mohammad Boota — attacked their sisters with axes over a "dispute related to property". The women were in the field, watering crops using a tubewell when the men launched struck them.

Both Yaseen and Mohammad Boota fled after hacking Rasoolan, 40, to death and wounding their other sister, who, then, was shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital in critical condition.

The deceased's body was also moved to a nearby hospital for post-mortem.

Police said they were conducting raids to arrest the suspects.
