Five influential men in Bhakkar allegedly gang-rape minor girl

BHAKKAR: Five influential men allegedly gang-raped a minor girl here in a village in the Punjab district's Chak 60/61 ML, police confirmed on Monday.
According to the statement the Class 10 student recorded with the police, the influential men first kidnapped her from the fields, then took her to their den nearby, where they gang-raped her at gunpoint.
The girl further explained that the alleged suspects filmed themselves gang-raping her and were threatening to share the video clip and make it viral if she informed the police. They were so influential that she feared for her life, she added.
Authorities said they had registered a first information report (FIR) at the Sarai Mahajir police station and were conducting raids to nab the accused.
