NEW YORK: The Indian media is abuzz with complaints that Prime Minister Imran Khan was given extra time to deliver his speech at the United Nations General Assembly session on Friday.

The complaints were based on PM Imran's 45-minute speech in which he targeted Indian counterpart Modi for annexing Indian-occupied Kashmir in order to ethnically cleanse Muslims from the area.

"Speech time allotted to every leader at the United Nations General Assembly is 15 minutes, PM Narendra Modi adhered to it. Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan exceeded the limit," India’s ANI news agency tweeted yesterday.

As Indians complained about the 'extra time' granted to the Pakistani leader, Pakistani and Kashmiri Twitter users had a field day trolling Indian diplomats for their facial expressions during the speech of PM Imran.

While some users shared plenty of funny memes carrying the pictures of Indian PM Narendra Modi, a large number of people targeted Indian representatives from the UNGA session as well.

The pictures of the two Indian female diplomats went viral shortly after a camera caught their facial expression after PM Imran exposed Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir.
