Zhob man opens fire on wives, killing both over 'domestic spat'

ZHOB: A man opened fire on two of his wives —  killing both — over what authorities termed was a "domestic spat" here in Bobi, an area on the city's outskirts, Levies officials confirmed on Thursday.

According to a Levies tehsildar, initial investigation suggested that the suspect — identified as Jaleel Ahmed — shot dead two of his wives because he claimed they both used to fight with him daily over domestic matters. Earlier today, then, he opened fire at them in anger and killed them on the spot before fleeing the crime scene.

Levies officials said the women's bodies have been shifted to the District Headquarters (DHQ) Civil Hospital for post-mortem. A search for the suspect has been initiated, they added.
