Chunian man shoots mother dead before fleeing

CHUNIAN: A man shot dead his own mother here in the city's Kanganpur neighbourhood over unknown reasons and fled, police said on Monday.
According to Chunian police, the suspect — identified as 18-year-old Adeel — opened fire on his mother, Shakeela, for yet-to-be-determined reasons, killing her on the spot.
Police said they have collected evidence and samples from the crime scene and sent the deceased's body for post-mortem. Investigation would be initiated once a first information report (FIR) is registered, they added.
