2 PML-N lawyers shot dead in Karachi

KARACHI: Two lawyers belonging to Pakistan Muslim League-N were gunned down at Sharea Faisal near FTC here on Friday, Geo News reported.

Two armed assailants riding a motor cycle showered a car with bullets in front of Saddar police station, killing two persons present inside the car. The deceased were identified as Fahim Riaz and Salim Bhatti.

Fahim Riaz was part of the lawyers' team of Nawaz Sharif in Plane conspiracy case and he was the chief organizer of PML-N Lawyers Forum, said President of the Forum, Arshad Jadoon.

He said Muhammad Salim Bhatti was the vice president of PML-N Lawyers Forum.
