Geo News makes special arrangements for employees' safety

Geo News has adopted strict measures for the safety of its employees amidst the ongoing coronavirus outbreak in the country.

As a precaution, the channel’s head office in Karachi and other offices were disinfected with an antivirus spray on Thursday.

The spray was carried out for the protection of all employees at the office.

Although all the offices of Geo News are regularly fumigated every month, this special step was taken as a precaution to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Newsrooms, studios, the Karachi bureau, all floors' entry, exit points and lifts were disinfected.

To keep a minimum distance between employees coming to office, the administration has also set up marks at entry points.

The temperature of each employee is also checked at the entrance of the office and they are reminded every time to regularly use sanitizer to clean their hands while at work.

The management is also providing masks, gloves and sanitizers to all employees.
