Pakistan conducts 21,020 tests in past 24 hours

KARACHI: In the past 24 hours, Pakistan conducted 21,020 COVID-19 tests, according to data shared by the National Coordination and Operation Centre (NCOC).  

As per the NCOC, Pakistan has a total testing capacity of 71,780 tests per day and the country has 133 coronavirus testing laboratories in total.

Data from the NCOC said that the government conducted 21,020 COVID-19 tests on July 13. 

According to the World Health Organisation, aggressive testing and tracking alone can help understand the extent of the transmission and virulence of COVID-19 in any country.
