Over 100,000 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in Sindh: Murtaza Wahab

Sindh's spokesperson Murtaza Wahab on Friday said that over 100,000 patients have recovered from the contagious coronavirus, constituting about 86% of the total patients affected by the virus in the province.

Taking it to Twitter, the PPP senator said: "As of today, more than 100,000 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in Sindh. This is 86% of the total patients in the province."

Earlier, on Tuesday, Wahab had said that the province has the lowest death rate and the highest recovery rate, in a press conference where he had lashed out at the federal government for failing to control the coronavirus pandemic.

Talking about recoveries in the province, Wahab had said the numbers reflected the Sindh government’s efficient strategy to deal with the pandemic.
