ISLAMABAD: Sikander, the gunman who brought Jinnah Avenue of the federal capital to standstill and got injured after a failed attempt of Zamurud Khan to get hold of him, has recorded his initial statement to the Islamabad police from the hospital bed where he is being treated.
According to reports, Sikandar seemed remorseful over his action and said he was unable to understand his misdeed. Sikander also expressed concern for the well being of his children.
Earlier, Sikander’s wife Kanwal in her statement said she was held hostage by her husband. Kanwal added that she was listening to Sikander out of fear for her life and that of her children. Kanwal also admitted that she was abused by Sikander.
