Police raid Deedar’s Rasm-e-Hena ceremony

LAHORE: Local administration and police raided Mehndi ceremony of Deedar, a famous stage actress, arresting one of bridegroom's relatives for not concluding the event till 10:00 pm as allowed by the government.

According to reports, the town administration raided a local marriage hall in Green Town where Rasm-e-Hena of the actress was being held in a ceremony also attended by actress Madiha Shah, stage actor Nassem Wicky and others.

The participants criticized the administration for the raid saying the ceremony was held at a private property and they should be allowed to continue it even after 10:00 pm.
