ISLAMABAD: Awami Muslim League (AML) leader Shaikh Rasheed Ahmed Thursday reacted to the PTI-backed candidate Amir Dogar’s win in Multan by predicting that the incumbent government will have to pack its bags in the next three-four months.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Muslim League-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique said the Multan’s seat was in PTI’s bag in the previous election. “PTI’s securing it again would not make any difference to us,” he added.
He said in case of Amir Dogar’s win, the credit would not go to Imran Khan but to Shah Mehmood Qureshi instead.
Shaikh Rasheed said today’s by-election recorded a low voter turnout.
