Pakistan invites India, others to ‘Heart of Asia Conference’

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Monday invited the members of ‘Heart of Asia Conference’ including India to participate in the upcoming conference jointly hosted by Pakistan and Afghanistan on December 7 in Islamabad.

Talking to Geo News, Foreign Office spokesman Qazi Khalilullah said India is also a member of ‘Heart of Asia Conference’, adding foreign adviser Sartaj Aziz and Afghan foreign minister Salahuddin Rabbai have sent invitations to 14 members and 17 other supporting countries to attend the conference.

The spokesman further said that eleven regional and international organizations have also been invited to attend the moot.

The ‘Heart of Asia Conference’ will be held in Islamabad where Afghan peace will be the topic of main discussion besides cooperation between other regional countries.
