DUBAI: Quetta Gladiators beat Peshawar Zalmi by six wickets in the third match of Pakistan Super League in Dubai on Friday.
Batting first Kamran Akmal and Misbah-ul-Haq both scored 49 each for Zalmi and set a target of 156 runs for Gladiators to chase.
Mohammad Nawaz dismissed two Zalmi batsmen, while Ghulam Mudassir and Irfan Junior took one wicket each.
Chasing 156 and having lost Ahmed Shehzad off the first ball, Umar Akmal quickly came to the Gladiators rescue and hit 75 off 50 deliveries.
