SHARJAH: Opener Shane Watson and Rilee Rossouw took Gladiators home in a comfortable 161 run-chase against Multan Sultans at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium on Wednesday.
Gladiators won by eight wickets in 18th over, with Watson's blitz of 61 runs off 40 balls including 11 boundaries.
Rossouw scored 67 off 45 with 10 boundaries and one six at 148.88 strike rate.
Hot-in-form Umar Akmal contributed 17 runs off 18 balls in the run chase.
Mohammad Irfan Jr and Shahid Afridi took one wicket each.
With today's win, Gladiators have maintained their momentum with three victories from three matches so far.
Skipper Shoaib Malik offered resistance against the Gladiators' bowling attack with 53 off 37 including four boundaries and two sixes at the strike rate of 143.24, before giving his wicket to fast bowler Sohail Tanvir.
Mohammad Irfan Jr and Ghulam Mudassar took two wickets each, while Mohammad Nawaz, Fawad Ahmed and Sohail Tanvir took one wicket apiece.
Gladiators dropped Ahmad Shehzad as the opener failed to perform in the previous two games.
