Tarin wants ECP to reaffirm troop deployment in NA-154

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jehangir Tarin on Saturday demanded of the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to reaffirm deployment of troops during the upcoming by-elections in NA-154 Lodhran.

According to sources, Jehangir Tarin in a letter addressed to Secretary Election Commission stated that the troop deployment during the by polls of NA-122 ensured transparent and peaceful elections.

He asked the ECP to confirm deployment of army personnel in NA-154 Lodhran during the by-election scheduled for December 23.
