HYDERABAD: Qaumi Awami Tehreek (QAM) president, Ayaz Latif Palijo on Monday urged the federation to employ its constitutional authority in connection with the renewal of term for Sindh Rangers’ special powers.
Ayaz Latif Palijo at a press conference here said Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) was putting the peace of Karachi at stake by refusing powers to the paramilitary force.
He said PPP is wary of evidence recovered from Dr. Asim Hussain
The QAM president demanded of the PPP government not to put hurdles in the way of Karachi crackdown against criminal elements or else it should brace itself to face protest, strike and siege of Sindh Assembly.
He wondered whether PPP wants to protect rights of the people or of Manzoor Kaka, Saqib Soomro and Anwar Majeed.
